Donate to Jeffrey "Free" Luers

You can contribute funds to Jeff’s legal/release & education fund or to his prison commissary account a few different ways:

Online:
Donations can be made online on a secure server through Paypal and can be made in any currency and paypal will convert it to dollars. These donations go to Jeff's education and release fund. To make a donation, click here:

Snail Mail:
You can send checks/postal money orders made out in US dollars to "Free’s Defense Fund" to PO Box 3, Eugene, OR 97440. Please do not send traveler's checks! These donations will go towards Jeff's education and release fund and to supplement Jeff’s commissary account as needed.

Tax-deductible:
If necessary, you can also make a tax-deductible donation through the Civil Liberties Defense Center towards Jeff's appeal costs[called Post-Conviction Relief]. To do this, make checks out to "CLDC-PCR" and send to Civil Liberties Defense Center, 259 East Fifth Avenue, Suite 300, Eugene, OR 97401. These funds will not go to Jeff, but CLDC has continuously given Jeff amazing legal support throughout his imprisonment and has done so with very little compensation. We love CLDC! Jeff’s prison commissary account:
These funds are used by Jeff in prison to buy necessities like pens, stamps, envelopes etc. Money orders or cashier's check only [absolutely no checks or cash] can be made out to: "DOC Central Trust for (For Jeffrey Luers, #13797671)" and sent to Central Trust, PO Box 14400, Salem OR 97309-5077. On the money order/cashier´s check, write the name and mailing address of purchaser, including city, state, and zip code. The money will be put in Jeff's account upon receipt through the mail.
Please do not include any letters or other personal items in the envelope that you use to mail the commissary money order/cashier´s check. Any letters, cards, etc. cannot be accepted and will be returned to the sender.

All donations to Jeff go toward his support, legal costs, and eduction and release fund. His support collective is comprised of all unpaid volunteers and loyal friends and comrades. All names/addresses are kept confidential.
